Each of my glass pendants and earrings are totally unique and one of a kind, made with layers of glass for a 3-D effect. They are kiln fired to a flowing state in my home kiln, then cooled to anneal and strengthen the glass. The edges are then "cold worked" which means they are ground with a diamond grinder after which they are re-fused in the kiln to a "fire-polished" state and once again slowly cooled for durability and strength. The pendant (or earring) is then finished off with a silver bail. In the case of stud earrings I use stainless steel posts.
Dichroic glass is a new age, very expensive glass which changes with the light and to show the true reflective qualities of it is hard to capture in a photograph
Where everything is totally handmade. Using a variety of materials such as Swarovski crystals, fused glass, fine silver, sterling silver, leather, ceramics and broken china in pendants, earrings and necklaces.
